Also, alot of anti-obama columnists became his giggling fangirls once the primaries are over.

Had McCain won the election and chosen Romney or Huckabee to his cabinet, how would you defend the choice as a republican?

You know, there's another reason, besides just having a team of rivals in the Cabinet, why Obama's appointment of Clinton is brilliant.

He removes any possibility of her criticizing him publicly for about 4 years. This is why you keep your enemies closer, cause now her potential to impede his Presidency from her seat in the Senate won't be happening.

Plus (yet ANOTHER reason) is that the Clintons are super connected. Now Obama gets to tap into and enter into that network as well. That should seriously aide him in his duties as President and in conducting foreign affairs.
