Vermont finishes the week 1-1 after a quick 8 round victory over Dayton at home, keeping pressure on Rhode Island (3822050)

Coach Ricrem after the game, "I thought we played this one pretty aggressively. We came out angry after our loss against Rhode Island and really wanted to stick it to Dayton. It was an up and down game the first couple of minutes (both dayton and UVM recieved territory bonuses within the first two rounds). But I really thought the key was our play in transition (ability to break Dayton's bonus, and pick it up in the same move). That really seemed to hurt them. Plus we played some stellar defense down the stretch to keep this one a laugher (Dayton losing a 12 v. 5 attack to break one of my bonuses). I hope the dayton some better luck in their next game, they had some wide open shots today that just wouldn't fall.

Bowling Green wins their 3rd straight MAC game moving them to 11-4. Coach Knighthawk had this to say after the game

Coach Knighthawk-"I'm glad to see my guys finally responding, they look absolutely lost out there in the game at Houston and then something clicked i guess cause they came and out strong and were able to get 2 quick wins at home and a victory at Kent State that was never that close.

The last seconds of the game are ticking by Mississippi State tries one last miracle shot it doesnt go and the Commodores win the State fans and players are stunned but the Commodores arent they knew they could win YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coach blacky44 says as the Vanderbilt Commodores just won over number 2. Mississippi State. I think the boys just wanted to win over a top 20 team but a top 5 team is even better I think the guys remember the loss to number 2 Kentucky and just wanted to win I hope this winning streak continues.
