following sgt detritus post.
I think page for new members to post hellos and a little info about themselves might be a great idea!!
that way existing members get to welcome these newbies and maybe it may stop a lot of deadbeating aswell
in addition its a good way of sounding out the competition too hehe :evil:

We've tossed around the idea of a welcome post...but to me it seems like it would be full of spam...and hardly ever read.

Maybe someone could make an 'Introduce yourself' thread in the Off Topic/Mess Hall area.
