The chokepoint continent in the middle is no good, it'll create major gameplay problems. I suggest putting in more countries, splitting SA into 2 continents, NA into say 2, and having the Caribbean islands as another 3-4 territory continent in the middle that bridges Miami to Venezuala.

You definitely need more territories anyhow, Canada and USA are good candidates for this.

Ports at Miami, Brazil, Peru, and/or Alaska all connecting would probably help gameplay too, but it would be up to you to figure out which, if any, you'd use.

Hi,

I think you need to work on your graphics first and foremost. Which graphics program are you using?

Secondly, you need more territories, try and split the areas up a little. I don't know much about the states of USA but what about midwest as well as east and west coast. Maybe make Washington DC a prominent place (perhaps a bonus on it's own and starting neutral) However, I'm digressing into gameplay. First of just concentrate on getting a good looking map. It doesn't have to be a work of art though but it has to be pretty and neat (to a certain extent).

Yes good idea e_i_pi! With ports you could attack the other coasts maybe or further up the coastline..

See what you can come up with, I shall be keeping an eye on this.

The only problem with having the carribean islands is that they are so small that there probably wont be enough room to put the pieces circle thingy, but it is a good idea, i will probably add one or two carribean islands. What do you people think about having the carribean islands attached to one of the other continents?

is USA part of the three bonus in NA? If so you should make the bonus more then three because it has more territories than the SA bonuses which are four

Usa is a part of that bonus, it is 3 because it is easier to defend then south america bonuses

Have you considered putting Hawaii between Alaska and Argentina?

And is there a more natural way to break up North America? Perhaps one that doesn't end with four corners? Maybe "Rocky Mountains", "Canadian Shield", "Appalachians", "Heartland", "Mojave Desert" ... "Dakota", "Texas", "Nunavut", "Quebec" ... some unique names with some interest to them. As it is, I would be hitting Western this and Western that on the menu, and may mix them up.
