Congratulations to you Owen, for knowing that starting congratulations threads for me is something I would not be congratulating your perspicacity on. However, I see the usual plethora of junk now fills GD once again as the mutual backslappers societies come out into the sun from their dark caverns. So congratulations to anyone who has received congratulations. May your congratulations be genuine, and the reason for receiving them genuine, for then and only then are the congratulations real congratulations and not false congratulations. For if they are false congratulations, then they can only be so because the receiver of said congratulations is false. In this way, not only is the receiver of said congratulations false, but they are also fooling the rest into those congratulations.

All said and done, let us hope the congratulations flying around presently are genuine. (Yawn).

To follow up on owen's post, i'd personally like to congratulate Night Strike for not having even a shred of a sense of humor by locking down not only siedshow's "bounty" thread (which was obviously a joke), but also the Steven Wayne v. Grimreaper thread under the pretexual guise of "flame-baiting." Thank god we have mods around here who are dedicated enough to watch the forums 24/7 to ensure that no thread becomes too entertaining or popular.

Also, congrants to whitestanz for swinging from the BpB's nuts for a solid three months yet not receiving an invite to join their clan...maybe you can resort to holiday party favors? Im sure jbrett would enjoy a nice homemade key lime pie!
