Essatly. (That's my way. Supposed to be "eßatly.")DublinDoogey wrote:Are we allowed to tell a mapmaker that we don't want his/her map? Hate to be harsh, but stick to the other maps, they're going somewhere and this one'll just end up straight in the Foundry Fires.

Children, this is what happens to hockey players, druggies, and Hillary Clinton.I really think this is necessary. I know how much work goes into map making and would hate to put all that effort in if there's a majority that don't like it. While it may seem harsh to some, I think it's unfair to let someone put many hours into a map that will never get anywhere.DublinDoogey wrote:Are we allowed to tell a mapmaker that we don't want his/her map?
Long ago, before you came here...we decided that I am not the 'dictator' of the Foundry...if the community doesn't think a map should be made, let them voice their opinions. I will voice mine, but mine will hold near the same weight.Maybe Andy needs to crack down on new maps and shoot them down before too much work has been put into them.
I understand that, and while I have been here a relatively short time, I think that perhaps the map making process needs to be controlled a bit more strictly. Perhaps not?AndyDufresne wrote:Long ago, before you came here...we decided that I am not the 'dictator' of the Foundry...if the community doesn't think a map should be made, let them voice their opinions. ... My humble opinion.
Yours humble opinion with no explain?!
