Cards of countries you own...

According to the instructions, I should get bonus armies on countries that I own which I also have a card of every turn. However this does not seem to be the case...nor does it appear to be the case if I own the continent of which the country is part off.

Now, if I trade in a set of cards it sometimes kick starts the adding of the bonus armies, sometimes it does not.

Am I missing something? Feel free to laugh at me if I am being stupid and misunderstanding the game rules. :oops:

to get the bonuses u hafta hand in the cards when the cards r bold 2 get the bonuses if the cards rnt bold when u hand em in u dont get the bonuses but u also dnt get the bonuses if u dont hand em in

nyg is rite. u only get the bonus if u own the country at the time that u cash the cards in. the cards will then b bold if u own them as an indicator. he is also rite that most of us won't laugh. just the immature ones :wink:
