Jesus Groups

Post by Johnny Rockets »

Out of curiosity, how may faith based player groups are on this site, and how many of them are Christianity based?

Is it just me? Or am I seeing more and more of them? Or are they just combining and reforming with other names?

Thanks.

They're not the only ones organizing. The Godless Heathens(Atheist-Agnostic) and the Elements(Pagan and Wiccan) formed just this year.

A true atheist would never join an atheist group...it's too much like a religion.

Mainly we just talk about various stuff, ask people to babysit and get the occasional doubles, triples or quadruples team going. ok, maybe that's somewhat like organizing the weekend jumble sale at the local church, but I'm not sure if that's a specifically religious rite or merely something that was added because it was convenient.

A "true" atheist as opposed to the other "untrue" atheists? Are you guys forming sects? It does sound a bit like a religion.

I actually read a "sermon" given by an atheist at a Universalist Church one time. It was pretty interesting.

So far as I know JF is the only Christianity-based usergroup. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If atheists have this attitude we'll always be a quiet, persecuted minority.

Well, we do have the KFC side as well, but that was so that we could compete as a clan as well, but those are the only Jesus ones that I know of. But maybe I didn't search hard enough.

Faith-Based Clans
1. Jesus Freaks(JFC)-the only social Christian clan
2. Knights for Christ(KFC)-the only competitive Christian clan, a wing of the JFC
3. Godless Heathens(GH)-the only clan for people of the agnostic and atheist religions
4. Elements-the only clan for pagans and wiccans
5. The Mormon Clan(TMC)-the only Mormon clan, i think they got off the ground anyways, they had enough people, not too creative with their name though...

Well at least we can all agree to hate scientologists.

That's actually a smart sentiment.
But you're not in the clan so it's kinda ironic too?

well, there is a much more prominent mormon clan on CC... they just don't have MORMON in their name, and many people don't realize it is faith based... the black jesus has spoken, and i love pepsi...-0
