When the site for first released I believe there were only three maps.

Classic
USA
Asia

It is amazing how many maps the foundry has produced in 3 years, isn't it?

I don't actually know what the foundry was set up. Just that is was set up by the one and only AndyDufresne who to this day ramains the foundry foreman.

When Conquer Club first started, the Map Foundry was like most any other forum---essentially a free for all, since Moderators were in essence only Lack and then Twill. The maps in development had little input and even less guidance. There was no helpful team of C.A.'s and Stamp Lickers and other helpful members as there is today---just a few random users attempting the first stabs at making maps for Conquer Club.

After a few months of general disorder, I volunteered to try to help wrangle the Foundry. Fast forward a few years, through a number of bumps and team alterations, and you've got what we have today. ;) And the best part...it still is changing and evolving. :)

Well, after being active in these parts for the best part of year, I was approached by Andy and asked if I would consider helping out in the Foundry... after some deliberation, I came on board the good ship Foundry ;-)
