As regards making boards yourself, I got some thin canvas that looks like it'd do the job admirably, now I'm just trying to find a way to attach two or more pieces together to allow for easy foldage.

As regards T-shirts, I quite like:

figuring out love, is like figuring out the sumatra-brunei borders

also the NUTS one. Though I prefer more vulgar exclamations... as Robinette knows.
