i think it would be a good idea 2 only let ppl post 15 times per day 2 help eliminate spam & 2 get ppl 2 actually post meaningful posts. If they wanna spam they can pm their little friends or talk in live chat

i would tend to agree................. if................reading all posts was required reading. but its a little like asking authors to stop writing books because there are too many books in Borders ....they let you pick the ones you want to read...

Granted, if lack has to buy a server to save all these bytes, i suppose it might make sense

I agree this is retarded. Also if you notice....pming in this environment is also a post. I would only agree to this idea if it was used as some sort of probation. If you were constantly reported for spamming threads then you could be put on a probation of only a few posts a day or something.
