Ok I watched the movie yesterday (found the story good but the directing sucked ass ><) and I gotta say I'm way more suspicious of Nag now. Derf's claim makes sense as a weak investigative role, and the fact he tried to do what he did at some point (can't be bothered to put spoilers up) doesn't make him a bad guy in the movie IMO. I think Nag has a high chance to be either the Joker or Lau, who would definitely be a baddie. That combined with the total skimming makes me want to dig into this deeper. Vote Nag

tbh im suspect him more because of actions than the flavor cop thing. Its true that money circulates the bad guys but also it could anyone talking about it its a big part of the movie.

There are tons of police characters in the movie, so:
A) I highly doubt he's the only investigative role
B) We shouldn't let Nate totally off the hook, as corruption is also present.

It's directed at anyone that has an opinion about the "flavour" part of the role. A bit more info from you about how your role works would be good.
IMO flavour roles are as useless as they are rare and the name he gave is far from fitting to be a cop style of role. But to answer MMs question, the answers to derf and Nate should be completely different so an extra investigation would reveal more info (at the cost of an action though).
Btw I think flavour roles can be very useful, sometimes even more than regular cops (when there's GFs or millers particularly). Although it entirely depends on how the mod uses it. The hint Derf supposedly got was enough to start a lead and discussion so it's all good
