Concise description: Have a unique insignia color for all players with less than 20 games experience.
Specifics: There are very few new recruits and very many cooks, cadets, and privates, and as the site is constituted now it's impossible to tell without accessing someone's profile which of them are new and which of them are just average players. This could be fixed simply:
Replace the question marks with a single "pip" or other insignia.
Have the insignia of all players with less than 20 or 25 games display with a green tint.
This may only be applied to non-members, if that is preferable.
This allows you to know right away from a game finder window which players are new to CC and therefore likely to be flaky in turn-taking, causing games (especially sequential) to drag on and on and on.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
Easier to guess which games you join will run at a quick pace, because those signed up for it are regulars
Enhances information conferred by rank insignia, which is usually more indicative of player quality than player experience.
1.New Recruits are players who have completed less than 5 games. I think think this is a reasonable number to determine their experience. 2.Just because a player is new does not mean they're "noob". In fact, we have tons of high ranked players (who I consider to be "noobs") that are still playing. The definition of noob takes into account attitude (and not all new recruits have a bad attitude) too...
Just because someone has completed more games, does not mean that the games will go faster. I have played many games where a newer player has taken their turns quicker than someone with a few hundred games under their belt. It all depends on that specific person. Everyone has 24 hours to take their turns, if this is not fast enough for you then just play speed games.

my thought just from reading the title. I can see high ranks just sorting through games looking for a certain color now.
Yeah this would just make it one step easier. Vote: no
Also, TooHot4Jew it just sounds like you are not satisfied with the 4 games at a time that you get because you are a freemium. If you are so worried about people taking their turns quickly, then buy premium so you can just add more games. Most people that complain about not getting to take their turns when they want, just need to be playing more games.

I'd love to here the story behind this "freemium" term everybody uses. It's kinda like when used car salesmen started selling pre-owned cars. It's a basic membership. Basic in that the functionality is substantially less than premium. The reason I don't pay for it, btw, is because I don't want to play a ton of games. It's just a fun little aside to the day for me, and playing the same aside for three weeks, which has happened, isn't worth it.
But if there really are some giant assholes out there who go looking to play the weak, I'd agree this is a bad idea.
