Here's the curlette on stage, singing "it's a hard-knock life" from Annie.

I've been living in a one bedroom apartment for the past few years. It's become a little cramped since I've acquired a wife and baby. Plus our neighbors have become rather uncool lately. A new kid moved in below us and decided it is appropriate to bang on the ceiling if he hears the wife and I having sex. This has only occurred once but it was very disturbing. My wife commented that "He must have not seen you yet." As I am 6 ft 3 and 255 lbs. My old downstairs neighbor used to keep me awake all the time having sex with her boyfriend at all hours of the night. They were quite loud but I never banged on the floor about it. When you choose to live in an apartment you know you are going to be aware of your neighbors. Loud music is one thing but you don't get pissy about basic human functions. Just put on some music or buy some earplugs and get over it.

Anyway the good news is we've found a nice little house in the country to rent. We don't move in until April. After living very close to the college for years I am looking forward to living in a very quiet area.

Well, the curlette's show in NYC is on Sunday, so she's decided not to accompany her brother skiing tomorrow in case she really does break a leg. So I won't be going either. No tragedy, I can't ski since I busted my knee a few years ago. The curlson took it very well when it turned out he couldn't do the school ski program because it clashed with rehearsals for the school show, and we promised we'd take him skiing at least once. So Mrs curl will take him.

Some while ago, I directed a kids show, and one of my most vital performers actually did break a leg (well, an ankle actually) - the young trooper carried on and did magnificently.

I watched the Tom Baker episodes (1974-1981). They were broadcast in the States on public TV in the 80's. Was the episode you watched a newer one?

I thought that song was from an Austin Powers movie.
