The fact that the parent company seems to be gone is worrisome.

I don;t believe this is construed as personal info, but if it is, I apologize in advance.
I made a $25 investment the other day too. I went to a movie, and bought some popcorn.

I apologize for the sarcasm, but maybe youre pushing the limits of what $25 really is worth.

True, True, but if the projector had shut off after the previews, you would have asked for your money back. This is a $25 purchase for 1 YEAR of play, there are no refunds or pro rated refunds. My original question was if it is reasonable to expect CC to continue in perpetuity. (Is that a word).

Of course that's a word... but i'm not sure what is has to do with your $25 investment...

Purpetuity
pur·pe·tu·i·ty (pûrp-t-t, -ty-)
n. pl. pur·pe·tu·i·ties
1. The quality or condition of being in puberty: "The purpetuity of the teen was just beginning" Morris L. West.
2. From this point forward, Time without end; eternity.
3. The pimple condition of a teen that is limited so as to be inalienable either purpertuity or longer than the period into adulthood.
Idiom:
in purpetuity
To have sex on the mind for an indefinite period of time; forever.

jpliberty wrote:Since the question is posed in a forum paid for, created, designed, hosted and maintained by the folks "under suspicion" I suggest Mr. Bretlipp that you wonder why you asked.

Who the BLEEP cares if you can or cannot find a page for Salamander?

Who really cares?

What matters is that I can and will kick your ass anytime, anywhere.

That goes on and that always is true.

So, on balance, not meaning to put you down, but your question, this thread, is for dumbshits.
Thank you for your hyper-intelligent post. I will type slowly since I know you probably can't read too quickly....

1) It is relevant, since THAT is who the money goes to. Just like the discussions on letting one of the big 3 auto companies go into bankruptcy, it was perceived no one would purchase a vehicle if the parent company might liquidate. Look at any Circuit City ad from the last few months...after their bankruptcy filing every ad has a letter from the CEO in it, to sway people that it is still a safe place to shop.

2) As a purchaser of services, if the company that holds the copyright of this site no longer exists, then this site may fall by the wayside. Who is paying to host this site....Salamander. It is basic logic.

3) My question isn't to wish harm on Salamander, it is simply to determine if for $25, I will get 12 months of games or 12 hours of games. Pretty reasonable.

4) Now for instance, let's say you actually had a bank account with money in it. But when you go to log on the website for your bank, it says "nothing to see here". Would you a) be concerned or b) say all those people lining up to get their money from the Bank are "dumbshits".

5) An internet fight!! Wow, I didn't know people still did this!! Ok here goes: Bring it on. Just want to let you know that I am 6 foot 5, 320 lbs, 4% body fat and trained in tae kwon do and knife fighting. I will come to your house, kick your ass, kick your family's asses, and let the air out of your house's tires for even thinking you can stand up to me. Then I will make you rape your sister, because she deserves it, but is wayyy too ugly for me.

6) Wow, now I know why internet fights and threats went out of style in 1998.
Not at all "reasonable" to use your word.

The simple fact is it's 25.00 bucks. Don't know what world you live in, but 25.00 ain't gonna break me if, as I never would suggest, CC disappeared tomorrow. Sorry, unconvincing.

Never been timed-out you twit. You and Twill buddy can get on that right now. Black Jesus and Twill sound like butt buddies to me.

Get on it, right away! Please, before I harm myself. OR, is there something I don't understand about what you wrote? Is it possible that there is no way to question? I questioned admins...not only that, but I "stooped" to questioning admins...OMG. Oh damn. Didn't mean to do that. Oh no sir.

Owen, what a MORON.

Quite obviously the black jesus wears no clothes and he does so, in the closet, with Twill, butt buddy of the missplelled.

BOTH buttbuddies wonder how the other missed the fact that neither can spell the word "perpetuity". Couple of idiots.

I'm going to have to agree with the black jesus on this one. Most other members would've gotten a timeout for that post.

*shaking my head in disbelief*... wait... you have been flying around the forums for the past 2 months ok'ing peoples ideas in suggs & buggs and the foundry, as if you alone held the power to ok ideas.. you started a clan with an offensive avatar and declared mass changes needed to be made within the clan forums, because you wanted to be a nazi in your clan forum and moderate peoples words/posts/threads HEAVILY... not to mention you routinely add one sentence responses to threads that aren't relevant and usually have golden words like, "yes, i agree! let's get this done!!" and now, you have been poking around trying to become a mod, and you don't know who lackattack is?!! the black jesus has used his own name in vain...-0

p.s.-the BBV is out of control....

Except we've already spent our money.... to borrow Fitz's cinema metaphor, that would be live paying to see a film and then not bothering to sit down and watch it in case the projector broke... the blue bowler hat has spoken...

Ok, so I "flame" admins? As though that is somehow different than flaming anyone else? What butt planet are you from?

This is what I am talking about. The absolute obedience to some authority.

Read what I am talking about over in the thread about the maps stolen from this site (and where your other "bu--buddies have posted other such nonsense (and is always true, exactly in line with the mods on this site).

There is a mindset, either you are a good German or you are not. I am not. The Black Jesus is.
