Parchment map ideas?

Post by bryguy »

Ive been getting kinda bored lately. Been making maps for fun, and finally that I decide to do a risk map, I blank out :?

So yea just wondering if anybody has any good ideas that might work out well as a parchment style map. Ive done a couple the I liked, so I was hoping to be able to do one for CC.

So yea if anybody has any good ideas that might work well as a parchment style map, then plz tell me. Only thing I can think of now is Revolutionary War, Battle of 1812, or The French and Indian war, but I dont really know what I would do for those.

Any ideas are welcome :)

This has come up a few times before and would make for a fabulous map.

You could also select a specific campaign or region from the era of the crusades. I've long thought that a map of the fall of Rhodes would be fantastic. You'd have the Knights Hospitaliers in the fortifications, Suleiman's troops amassed at the city walls and his fleet outside the harbor, bombardments back and forth, etc.
