I have to disagree with you on that one, I played COD3 on the PS2 a while ago (my 360 bust, but since I got it mended for free with a premium boost thrown in I still think its best) and I could barely recognise it it was so clunky.GabonX wrote:I can hardly see any difference in graphics between the dreamcast/ps2/gamecube era and this one.

Ya but... It's the Wii... It's for housewives, 7 year olds and Nintendo fanboys...MeDeFe wrote:The Wii has the price, make no mistake about that.

Ya, and the PS3 has "Little Big Planet", but that doesn't mean it's not for the more hardcore gamer crowd as apposed the the casual/kiddy crowd.MeDeFe wrote:orly?hecter wrote:Ya but... Combine that with some serious lack of power and you haven't got a very good console... Just one that has a bunch of potential that remains untapped, and at this point, is doubtful that it ever will be. And you can't play potential.Frigidus wrote:As much potential as the Wii had, and I'm saying this as someone that has owned every generation of Nintendo systems, I have to say that it has been a huge disappointment. Rather than incorporating the versatility of motion detectors into gaming as we already know it (Metroid Prime 3 being a good example) or breaking new ground given options beyond joysticks and buttons, Nintendo has decided to capitalize by making a shit ton of glorified minigames. Ugh. If I wanted that I'd just find a flash game on the internet. It's not like they haven't had good games, it's just that outside of the standard, can't fail franchises I haven't been getting very much use out of it. It's a good thing the PC was around to pick up the slack.
