I don't see any mitigating circumstances.

I am pretty sure that if there is just one cult left and they have a majority they win and everyone alive get's endgamed. So they plan of yours seems horrible and ill thought out. Especially when you consider that cults supposedly can't kill townies.derfderf34 wrote:to explain the vote on ace i meant to get it down to one cult that wouldnt be able to kill us so worst case senario is that all of the town gets recriuted and everybody wins
after further thought this might not be the best idea because the cult would just get majority then pick us off one by one during the day so unvote
About your claim. I am not fully sure this is a real role. It seems that if you powers were activated that you would seriously unbalance the game, or something. On the other hand, this role doesn't exactly seem like the thing you personally would make up to fake claim with. So I hold my vote for now.derfderf34 wrote:and since you are forceing me to claim my role is flipper flopper. If i get recruited by one cult after one night i go to the cult that's color is the better (ex: if recruited by red then become blue) i also keep all the information
I have not been recruited yet and now that I have claimed I I doubt that I will be recruited because none of the cults would be retarded enough to strenghen another cult on purpose
So you are saying you would know all the members of the cult who originally tried to recruit you, and their roles?derfderf34 wrote:almost all of stroops qoutes o me are ripped horribly out of context

Hardly a defense. Which ones and how did I rip them horribly out of context?derfderf34 wrote:almost all of stroops qoutes o me are ripped horribly out of context

Spiesr obviously didn't see it when mpjh hadn't edited all his posts yet, so I don't think there was anything to see.spiesr wrote:Are you trying to get yourself lynched? Wait, what? How does the fact that no cult will go for him make him useless? FOS LSULSU Tiger Josh wrote:Unvote Vote Derf at best you're a cult guy. At worse, you're a useless townie since no cult will go for you.

Way to come up with a explanation for LSU's scumminess and give him a way out. FOS spiesrspiesr wrote:I think what LSU meant was that now that derfderf has revealed his role, no cult will recruit him and therefor his power is useless...
Oh ya, He wants everyone to be cult, I forgot.derfderf34 wrote:Then if we lynch all the pro town power roles the game is free to become a faction game
Flipper flopper is probably his term. And not having any real experience with Mafia... I would say his role doesn't sound made up.Stroop wrote:Your role is just odd. I'm glad you said it. As I read what he was saying I was certain he didn't give that any kind of thought. Having claimed, if he's honest(not already recruited) then he's basically now invincable to recruitment.ace1217 wrote:Wait, what? How does the fact that no cult will go for him make him useless? But instead it's now a town power role. He is only killable, not recruitable.spiesr wrote:I think what LSU meant was that now that derfderf has revealed his role, no cult will recruit him and therefor his power is useless...
If he hasn't been recruited..... by your..... wait..... are you trying to get him killed? Or do you consider him a liability, that he hasn't told us everything? He has been suspected as cult from the beggining, so I don't think anyone would have recruited him. Yet I don't yet see what you are driving at....captainwalrus wrote:If that is his [derfderf's] power then why wouldn't he just reaveal that at the begining so he can't be recruted?Oh ya, He wants everyone to be cult, I forgot.derfderf34 wrote:Then if we lynch all the pro town power roles the game is free to become a faction game
He seems very pro cult, and even if he isn't a leader I suspect he has gotten himself recruted.
I wish you hadn't done that. Not that this info isn't out there already. A smart cult may add your opinions to their own and start to recruit the final few good people.ace1217 wrote:william18: Admitted to being red.
LSU Tiger Josh:Most likely blue
Iliad :Again, fairly neutral
norsemsn1066: Not sure on this one, he's been lurking most of the game
Stroop: Most definitely town.
derfderf34: 100% cult, most likely the last leader.
nagerous:Don't have much of a read on nagerous.
farside22: Needs to be replaced, has been inactive or lurking for most of the game.
Haggis_McMutton: Probably Blue.
spiesr: Somewhat scummy for defending LSU, a likely scum.
Juan_Bottom: Quite probably town
captainwalrus: Probably town.
Suspect101: 100% town in my eyes.
If flipper flopper is derf's term the whole role comes from derf's imagination. You don't get a role PM and say "gee, I know, I'll call it flipper flopper!".Juan_Bottom wrote:Flipper flopper is probably his term. And not having any real experience with Mafia... UNVOTE Vote captainwalrus???
you say that no matter what color i am i need to be lynchedLSU Tiger Josh wrote:Spiesr pointed out exactly what I meant. If Derf isn't scum and you want to lynch me go for it. Derf right now is stuck on whatever is the last color to recruit him better half if his role is indeed true. As such, no matter what color he is he needs to be lynched. Reality, go for killing me ace since you said that your kills only work on cult. Unless some cult decides this night they want to recruit me which I'm doubting I'll still be here tomorrow since I'm bored plain townie.
Wait, if you have a color, that means you are cult. If you are cult, you need to be lynched. Therefore if you have a color you need to be lynched. If you are a unrecruitable townies, you won't have a color.derfderf34 wrote:you say that no matter what color i am i need to be lynched
so by saying this you are saying that even if i am unrecruitablt town i should be lynched
So vote for for him despite finding that such an action would be "very scummy and maybe a little bit OMGUS"? Or did you mean he was "very scummy and maybe a little bit OMGUS"? Because doing things that are "very scummy" is probably a bad idea unless you want to be lynched.derfderf34 wrote:very scummy and maybe a little bit OMGUS but vote lsu
That was my way of saying he was acting a bit suspicious there. Not quite lynchable, but don't give me a reason....Stroop wrote:I don't really see why you're (failing at) voting captainwalrus here
I can't disagree with you there, sir. I just don't have a a strong enough conviction against him. If he's telling the truth he'll be a valuable asset.Stroop wrote:If flipper flopper is derf's term the whole role comes from derf's imagination. Though his role looks a bit plausible (even though it's called flipper flopper), his actions throughout the entire game make him look like the last cult leader. Personally, I don't want to take the risk of giving him at least one more night to recruit.
How so? The cults will just avoid recruiting him and if they manage to outnumber the town at some point they'll win either way.Juan_Bottom wrote: I can't disagree with you there, sir. I just don't have a a strong enough conviction against him. If he's telling the truth he'll be a valuable asset.
