Here is the beginnings of a CC map. If any of you mapmakers want to make a map out of it, be my guest. All I ask is, after you have completed all of the gameplay, you let me do the final graphics.

Europe from space?

It could have africa, europe, russia, and half of aisa.

I was messing about with an idea which looked quite like this. It was an Earth & Space map, in which you could send rockets off to the space stations etc

I think this is a really great idea. I would rather you focus on this besides the world 2.1 revamp your working on.

I can come up with a theme or two, but Then it would be all my idea. I am not really trying to create the game. That is up to the mapmaker. I would like to spend my time on authoring graphics for several map ideas at the same time. I will offer a suggestion or two along the way, but mostly I will be concentrating on the enjoyment that I am getting from this medium called Photoshop.

There are many different ways to go with this one. Forget about "countries". How about regional foods of the world. There is pizza, spaghetti, borst stew, fallafle, curry chicken, chop suey, French toast, The list is practically endless, and the borders can be made as you see fit.

Or how about "The Races Of Man" Something along the lines of "Out of Africa". ?

Kill what I am saying is that there is no point to putting up images of Europe to be made into a map. Even if they look cool we don't need another Europe map without a THEME!

Yes, they are a bit jagged as this is only a first draft. I have not yet gone in and cleaned anything up.

This image is much more than just Europe. Note, this is only an example of the prospective, that I think would look cool. It can actually be anywhere you choose on the planet.
Also I believe that an "Out of Africa " theme, would work well for this particular view of the world. All of the earliest races of man are represented, in terms of geography.
