I need some constructive criticism.

So far I have organised 3 tournaments.

A Quick KO

In almost all of these tournaments there have been minor glitches and little things that have gone wrong. I have had several upset players and some problems. I have compiled a list of SOME of the complaints.

Complaint 1. "The games are based on luck of drop and who goes first."
Complaint 2. "There is no link to the tourney thread or game I am supposed to be in."
Complaint 3. "Poorly organised tournament." (no explanation)

I do recognise some problems but would like some...

what do they have to complain about? they knew the settings before they joined... ignore this complaint

context? do you mean in the PMs in which you send that have games in them? they can always search in ongoing, some organizers always supply a link, some dont

try and get an explination if you can, and improve. The first 10 or so I did, i asked in PM if anyone had any ideas to make the tournament or how I organized it better to please give me some 'constructive criticism'

Joshyboy. I agree on the first issue, you cant control the settings and they signed up for it, so if they don't like maps or setting that luck plays a bigger factor too bad. As far as the other two complaints, I am in your tournament that got all of the PM responses and don't sweat it. I set up some tournaments and they are not easy and like me you probably just do it because you enjoy them and like to give back. Next time maybe just send out a pm to each game group with the game number and password. That should cutdown on the whole tournament field getting copied on anyone's problems. Other than that, keep it up, without tourney organizers, we wouldn't have any.

Isn't there a link to the thread now via the tournament game? And the latter part I have no idea what it means.
