Exactly. The 3 took up spots that other participants could have had. The Butler pick is a definite handicap, but they might get a bunch right down the road. I doubt they can win though, unless all the #1-5's fall today.
Funny that manimal got in there. I wonder if any of the other participants are so notorious.

Well... Butler should have at least survived round one. I noticed Brett's "winning" bracket leans a little bit heavy towards the Big 12... ha ha ha.

You know, CS Northridge actually was leading by 6 points with about 9 minutes left (can't remember exactly how much time was left on the clock). I wonder how bad Owenshooter was sweating that one out
...he has Memphis winning the whole thing!

I can't believe he had Memphis. He always picks TX to win it all, which is why he sucks at NCAA brackets. But I usually have Pitt or KS winning and never due to well either.

I know EXACTLY how owenshooter feels... Memphis got in early foul trouble and had to rely on the bench to keep it close until the starters could come back in. What happened to Chattenoooooga??? It was 19-17 and I thought they were gonna make Connecticut sweat a bit and now it's 48-20 at the half.

I don't see his name on the list...did he withdraw his name?
Anyways, I'm looking at all the rest of your brackets and see that you guys are taking hardly any chances by picking upsets. Wimps!

Well... I picked MSU to beat Washington, Butler to beat LSU... and yet to tip off
#11 VCU over #6 UCLA and #12 Western Kentucky over #5 Illinois.
Even though I picked Villanova... I found myself pulling for American U.

So far decent tourney. Not too great from what I got to see. Big 12 has looked solid, no real upsets except WKU, but a 12 always beats a 5, and the big 10 is boring slow basketball.

Western Kentucky's win was big, but Cleveland State trumped it today.

I agree...I can't prove it yet but I'm sure the Illuminati are behind his ascension to college hoops domination.

I was surprised to look at the standings at the start of today
and see my position... but this afternoon went ok.
Of course I would have burned one to see Western Kentucky pull out that game.
Dayum... what a heartbreaker finish. Another OT would have been sweet.

Well, after spending most of this weekend somewhere between 29th - 32nd place...I'm starting to dig being 17th now
(I thought the only person I was going to be ahead of at the end of this thing was the guy who picked Butler to win it all)
