i look here topic, and i see that you got suport from andy for competition, and i agree for these, its better when 2 authors work in 1 idea separate and have competition.

She can ask me for not post in her thread, but can spam mine with ridiculous arguments about me being a liar. Haha, she wasnt angry, she just sent tons of "f*ck you" to me, and now is possibly paying someone like Jamie, that she knows in real life to do a map to her.

C'mon, Kayla, I dont care about your map being put alive, as you suppose. I want this site even better, and I dont have all maps here. I will be happy if your map is great. And I know you are very proud about all your knowledge... My hats off for you.

Oh, and an idea: if their version is really superb, Andy can move this thread to flame wars forum... the stupid gal wont stop to post here, by the way

All this bickering is very childish and useless. I don't mind seeing competition on a map design to get a better product but this seems to have become a kind of personal affair or revenge. Marvaddin since Kayla had the idea first I think you should let her develop this map. Why don't you focus on that South America map which you seem to have abandoned or else on revamping the dated Brazil map?

when I first read the map's legend, I thought that you got minus armies for holding each and any continent... of course, it made the additional minus for India redundant. Then as I read on I figured it out.

I actually thought the idea of penalties for holding a continent was friggin brilliant - the whole idea behind Pangea is that THERE ARE NO INDIVIDUAL CONTINENTS. Consider this idea, and the strategic ramifications it would have... everybody would have to slug it out and weigh the consequences of taking continents/taking away somebody continent.

I agree about bickering, but if you look carefully, you will see who is causing it:

She posted it 3 days ago, and I never more posted in her thread. Now count how many useless posts from her in this one... even when I asked her for post on her own. She had the idea first, but did nothing beyond create a thread and that useless picture. I spent hours developing the graphics. She can develop it, and put it alive, but just if its best than what I had already did. (Maybe she can now, with the help shes getting

And, Im still working on SA map. Put the mountains and rivers is a job so boring that Im doing it slowly

Thanks, oaktown. Really this idea can be better explored in future maps... it could really make playability something different... That was my idea: change the playability, so south wouldnt be that powerfull

okay and who started it, and thought of it, and made a thread first..? i went through erasing everything off the original that I LOOKED UP off the internet, made the map to where it was one pixel wide. and yet.. this is your map? your using the skeletal i made. grow up, this is not your map. your just doing this to get at me, otherwise youd work on your ugly brazil map and the south america map that you are making. oh and if im just "so terrible" why were you asking for my help the other day on your brazil map, and help for your south america map a few weeks ago?

this isnt close to finished, but this is my map so far, and as you can see, is much better than yours...

but of course, u wont admit it, because you refuse to, but you know as well as i know, this map is far better than yours. i still have the legend to finish and the playability rules to put on it. oh and my name, and the persons that helped with the names im going to add, not ur name, because you did almost NONE of this! ive done this from pangea 11, all on my own ty very much. and i just started this map thing, but yet, mine looks better than yours HA HA HA HA HA
oh and the scroll is undecided? what do you all think? i guess since you posted in my thread things youve done, i can post mine in here as well, after all, it is the same map

so go ahead, talk shit on it, but mostly everyone will agree, my textures are better, my ocean is better, my lettering is better, my space is 50 times better, and your legend is just awful, mine probably is too due to the theme of the map but the legend is undecided

kayla: You asked him to stay out of your thread, and he obliged. You would do very well to follow your own advice and stay out of his since the two of you clearly cannot be civil.

If you each want to continue creating your own maps, that's great! As Andy said, competition can be good for the creativity process, but this bickering is not. Leave his thread alone and I'm sure he'll leave yours alone. Then as the maps become more complete the FOUNDRY will decide which one is better- not either of you.

Your map looks very nice, so post it in your own thread to receive the comments you deserve.

thats where he started posting in my thread things he only did when it wasnt his map, then when i mentioned him not working on it anymore he started wrting it, he started posting in my thread unncessary things A LONG time ago, so have you not looked at the other thread at all?

my whole point that ive made clear and if you had read this you would know..... is i made the map skeletals for the continents, i found the original image off the internet, i started the thread myself, this is my map. he has two ugly maps he needs to work on, one of them not even on the site yet, but for some reason hes decided to focus only on this map.. and do you know why? take a wild guess... im sure if i copied and pasted someone elses map, and then made changes to it, and posted it in my own thread, the map maker would be pissed. because its WRONG, he has this little hunger for revenge and showings hes better when hes not. now that ive finally posted my update you can see that as well

hmmm this is quite interesting, marv has decided to completely start over, from a different pic and everything and wont be using my ideas, meaning no dinosaurs on the map, no dinosaur names, and not my continent skeletals, so i just want to give you all an idea on what he probably plans on naming his countries, he made these countries all on his own, and now you can see how horrible they are:

now after seeing that, and knowing my legend is better, and my space, and my names, u can know hes completely wasting his time when he should be working on his south america map and his messed up brazil map lol

STOP BICKERING AND ARGUING. This thread is totally useless if it is only used to argue. Kayl if you can make a better map then go and do it. Marv if you can make a better map then do it. Then finally we might have two good maps rather than two half finished shockingly pixelated bits of rubish that will never make it. The idea is good, the playability is ok. But the map makers you need to get your heads sorted. Stop posting in each others threads unless you have something usefull to say. Stop abusing each other or take it to flame wars. STOP BICKERING

What do you not understand about staying out of this thread and posting in your own? That's what you asked marv to do and he has done it. I'm personally glad that he wants to start over with a completely new image because that way the maps will be sufficiently different. He already made your map much more playable, so continuing to work on the same image would ensure you have two essentially identical maps with slightly different graphics.

Anyway, please don't respond to this post kayla...End all of the bickering now and simply work on your own map.
