I say that given what derf's claim is I doubt it's a real role in the game. Way too powerful/unbalanced IMHO. I think there should be a lynching as he is almost for sure cult and possibly the leader. Don't give a Cult leader a chance to recruit another member, IMHO. I will also throw one last thought into the ring for some discussion.......He could be trying to draw our attention away from the real Cult Leader so the blue cult can recruit one more Villager tonight. Possible but not as likely to me AAR.

Sort of correct. To go to night, we need to have a majority vote to lynch someone, a majority vote to not lynch, or a deadline to expire. Right now there is no deadline, so day will only end when a majority is reached.

I'm plain townie. One of the investigators wants to investigate me tonight and being that I have not been recruited to be scum I want to guaranttee that none of the groups goes for me this night as I would prefer to win as town instead of hope for a cult win.

The town was the team that started out with the huge disadvantage you know? Why not have an equalizer of some sort? Even with 1 cult down (the second cult would probably still have to get the info to the town) we would still be at a disadvantage.

It's just a really odd equalizer if derf is actually the "flipper flopper". It relies on one of the cults recruiting derf instead of derf actually having an active role he can use to tip the balance to the town side.

Are you sure that he is the leader? (Assuming he is cult) We don't exactly know that he is the leader. he has seemed scummy since about the begining, but he could have been recruited early on, rather than just being the leader. We can't know fro sure until he is dead...

Look guys at derf's best he's a unrecruitable townie which means nothing now, and at his worst he's blue cult, which is far more likely.

The above people are next on the chopping block when Derfderf comes up cult. Since derfdef is cult and there are at most 4 people in any cult 3 out of those 4 are cult. I say we are in a pretty good place, now lets lynch. I am willing to be my life (within this game) that derfderf is cult and if, by some freak acsident, he comes up town, lynch me tomorrow.

Well, since now there's a deadline, almost everyone seems to be pushing for the hammer, and there haven't really been any compelling arguments as why to not lynch derf in the past few RL days, i guess i'll comply to the will of the majority
