im looking for a partner to make my first map with. im new to the foundry process and would prefer somebody who has at least made one map.

are you looking for someone who can do graphics, XML, gameplay, or what?
Specifying that would probably help get you more of a response.
Some people only like doing graphics.
Others do fanstastic XML.

Also it would be nice if you gave the idea out. Most people want to know and I doubt your idea is of a lewdness or secrecy level high enough to require PM conversation on the initial setup.

I agree with tacktix - if you don't find somebody who wants to discuss your project in private, you should start a Map Ideas thread... if you get some discussion going around the idea somebody may find it attractive and want to help you with it.
