Easter Egg Hunt (Poll)

Post by dolomite13 »

I am sure that someone has done an easter egg map similar to the st patricks day one and we just haven't seen it yet but ... would anyone be interested in playing a map similar to the st patricks one with easter eggs, chocolate rabbits etc?

no, someone else suggested an Easter map. By their first post in the thread, they mean to make an actual Easter map. You're suggestion is different, and is a commercial/Easter foods map. I say there's a big enough distinction that you could definitely go for it. If you liked the gameplay from the st paddy's day map, this could easily be similar. Though what i was expecting when i saw your title was a map of a back yard with a bunch of "hidden" easter eggs as the terits. that could be cool too. but your idea isn't claimed...

the St.Patrick's Day places way too much emphasis on luck
if you wanna make an Easter map I suggest adding a lot of territories

It's probably too late to get an easter map together - the St Pat's map was a few weeks of work and refinement.

It would be more realistic to try and hide Easter Eggs around the site - adding some eggs to a few maps wouldn't take long at all. I'll happily volunteer to add an egg to each of my own maps. :D

What about the traditional Maltese figolla?

I was thinking of this, just with posts, also just take the Patrick's day style and use eggs

Nice Idea, Yeah I think just scattering the eggs around maps, but maybe it could be a competition or something more than just a decoration? :?:

This sounds like a fun idea!

Maybe they could be randomly placed on various maps and an extra point given to those who find them? (just for Easter).

The main issue I could see is that Easter is a true religious holiday, so for that reason, might possibly raise some issues.

Though, I see no reason why a game or two would be obectionable to anyone.
