Yes... you are a scary man jonesthecurl. I suppose I should have read that book and not just depended on the motion pictures. All I remember is Jane, boy and the multi-translatable word UNGOWA... depending on the vocal invfliction. Also the tribal scream recognized internationally, AieAiaaaaah eawiaaaah!

btw "Tarzan" means "White Skin". And there's only ONE decent Tarzan movie - Greystoke.

The Johnny Weismueller (sp?) movies will never be mistaken for great cinema or storytelling, but they have a "certain bad quality" that is close to uniquely their own. Greystroke did that modern film thing where an honest effort was made to make the story logical and real.
