Map symbols summary/guide

Newbie here, can anyone direct me to where I can find out about specific symbols pertaining to a map..Currently playing on The Benelex map and I don't know what the monarchy chain indicates or the arrows and I've read about mountains in Luxemburg but don't know the implications of these. there surely must be a central spot for all this info....cheers

if by monarchy chain you mean monarchy border then it means that territories that are separated by the border are not adjacent (unless they have contact through the arrows)
as for the Luxembourg map there are no mountains

each map has its own thread. In it you wil find all kinds of surprising information about the map and how it came to be. Often you will also find nuggets of information about tactics orsweet spots. try to go to create a game(start a game) and look for the link that say's discussion or something
