Open question to you all, what is it about CC that you really love and keeps driving you back here? Always find it interesting to hear what it is people love about a site, so it would be great to get your feedback on what really does it for you here at CC.
I appreciate the spectrum of game types, maps, styles and speeds. The ability to try new game options on new maps is as enticing as RISK can get for me. If I play a doodle assassin game or an 8-player escalating Triple Alliance game, I'm constantly thinking, trying new strategy and learning in the process. Here's to the opportunity for more game types, maps and styles in the future!

Wielding a hot dog in one hand and a fedora in the other. . . . .
1) The games. Specifically, sequential 1v1, teams, and 6-8 player standard escalating.
2) The good people. Generation One, the people I play speed games with, and a handful of forum regulars.
3) The bad people. I derive entertainment in odd ways sometimes.
The pursuit of points, the collecting of stats, the winning, the incredible variety of maps (which I don't really take advantage of but I could), playing the best players I can, the BpB, having lot's of real life friends who are also fairly addicted, team games and singles games, speed games and casual games, the forums and sense of community here but mainly it is simply that CC has the best Risk play available, the best players to play against, (I would imagine) and finally the sense that CC will probably be here in three years, five years or even longer and so is something I can really do for a long time.

hiya Hya!
what i love about CC are open questions to all.. That really keeps driving me back to CC! that's what i really love!
The best part apart CC is how it is evolving. When I joined in 07, all the maps were "standard" gameplay. DiM's Age of merchants chnaged that. Now there are several tweaks to gameplay that make this site truly unique.
Also I love the soap opera that is occuring with the forums. From Wicked going berserk, to Twill banning a whole clan for their signature when there is a 500 page thread that commits the same "crime" we did (posting pictures of users), to 3 day bans that last 6, to threads being locked, deleted, or manipulated by mods with no rhyme or reason; this keeps me coming back for spectacular customer service.
Oh, yeah I almost forgot...I love the racial slurs. Please ban more users for getting called these.
nothing wrong with a little bit of man on dog love.

These things. And the dice. I love the dice, I hate that they aren't referred to as dice. There's no copyright on 6-sided dice, it's just silly.
I also like that the site takes suggestions from the community and integrates them into the gameplay, albeit very slowly in many cases. So I'm also looking forward to the day when 2 player "team" games are implemented.
1.Playing tournament games with my regular quads partners.
2.Inter clan games
3.The great bunch of guys and gals that i play with on a regular basis
4.Winding up Blitz
I'm a competition-junkie, so that's what brought me here. I've stayed because I like the vast number of different maps available. I also very much like that the site takes suggestions from it's users seriously and implements them (though this would be even better if YEARS weren't basically the normal implementation time for those suggestions).
The insatiable curiosity that I will login one day and the dice will give up being so streaky due to some cool mod that lack puts in. The maps that are created, the leagues, the tournies, the clan wars, my fantastic partner and the sheer enjoyment of crushing those of higher ranks that depend solely upon one setting or one map. ...
