IMPORTANT: To join this tournament you must have a score of at least 1100 points upon sign up, 150 completed games, and a premium membership. Also, this tournament is only for players who are dedicated to the game. If you cannot commit to playing the tournament through to the very end, please allow someone else the opportunity. This tournament will take several months to complete from start to finish, and having to use replacement players ruins the experience for others.
Welcome to the Minor Leagues tournament, which features 16 players representing one of 16 teams chosen from several different minor leagues in the baseball world. This tournament will encompass a 144 game regular season schedule with a series of playoffs at the end to determine the tournament champion.
TOURNAMENT SETTINGS
All games will be 1 vs 1, sequential, no spoils, chained, and sunny. Each player must pick a team to represent and a home map that uses standard gameplay only. No maps with gimmicks or complex/confusing gameplay will be allowed. I reserve the right to veto any map choices. Map and Team choices will be given in order that they arrive. Please look carefully to may sure don't select a team or map that is already taken. You will be allowed to change your map once during the course of the regular season to a previously unused map if you wish. A list of approved maps is provided below.

Please keep in mind that you will receive 4 new games to join every week sometime between Saturday morning and Monday afternoon, and will be playing 144 total games during the regular season. You will play the same people over and over on a regular basis. If these are things you will have trouble dealing with, please refrain from entering. Foe lists are ignored.
REGULAR SEASON
Each player will play a total of 144 regular season games in groups of 4 that will be sent to them on Saturday - Monday of each week. At the conclusion of all regular season games, the two divisions winners, along with the next two best teams from each conference will advance to the playoffs.
PLAYOFFS
The four playoff teams from each conference will be seeded 1-4 according to their regular season win/loss record. The #1 seed will play the #4 seed in a best of five series, and the #2 seed will play the #3 seed in a best of five series. The winner of each first round series will then play the in another best of 5 series to determine the conference champion. The two conference champions will then play a best of 7 series to determine the winner of the tournament. Home map advantage goes to whichever team has the best regular season record.
STANDINGS
The standings will not be updated every single week because with 144 total games it does not show much difference. Instead, the season has been broken down into segments after which I will update the standings. You can expect to see a new set of standings at the following points during the season: 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, and 120 games. After 120 games are complete I will update the standings more frequently as the playoff races will be heating up.
The winner of this tournament will receive 1 year of free premium.
