I'm done. I am. I am getting royally sick of being teamed in multi-player games, and i'm sick of the randomness, and the often dumb drops in speed 1vs1s. I worked so hard to get up to Sarge only to have it yanked from my cold battered hands the next day because some players decided I was not fit for it. Then the speed games hit me hard, and now i'm back down to pirvate first class. God damn this game hits hard. It ceases being fun because of it. Almost every single multi-player game there is at least one player who cannot read the god-damned board, and decide who is the strongest. Every single game there is at least one moron who does everything the strongest tells them to do. Every single game there is a dumb ass who just attacks attacks attacks one player, and screws them over. I'm SICK OF IT!

You know, it's one thing to get shit dice. It's complety another thing when you fight r-tard players who really have no clue how to read the board or form a coherent strategy for success. I'm sorry I've spent money on this site, to be honest. Speed games tear a player's score and moral with BS probability. The ability to play as many games is nice. But not when the r-tard cooks join your game and get lucky, because they see the rank, and gold rank, and automatically think you're the biggest risk on the board. It's dumb.

Any clans recuiting? I'm looking for a clan that isn't run by r-tards, or unfriendly competitive-minded jerks. Losing is just as essential to winning, but not when you get screwed over every single game.

First of all, I can't see why this thread should be moved, locked or had anything else done to it.

Beyond that, the OP needs to find the game styles that, in general, attract the more disciplined players. The 2.1 public games I have played in have had the odd idiot, but in general I found the games to be well balanced and well played. The classic speed games however often had 1 deadbeat, 1 suicide, 1 apparently blind player and 3 decent players trying to fight their way through the insanity of it all.

I haven't played that many different maps or styles, so I wouldn't be able to give much advice on which maps or styles (CC wide) are most likely to attract which kinds of players.

I'm sure someone would know though...

Have you tried team games? Most of the high scores play a lot of team games. It is good to play 2v2 doubles, if you know someone else on here. Or play games with no cards, and limited forts for 1x1, since that minimizes luck of the drop etc.

You shouldn't quit the site over this. Just take a deep breath and remember, it is only a game.

I have a couple advice for you
1.Install BOB, it's usefull to avoid human mistake in most complicated maps
2. Choose a complicated map, (not City of Mogul because to much super high level player use it) and become expert in that. so you can host or join that kind of map, and pwn some no-clue players on it

Try using the "win" button. I use it all the time and it's great.

It's all about timing though, you need to press Alt + F4 after your attack and it should appear on the far right.

I find not caring about my rank keeps my blood pressure down, while occasionally my rank shoots up. When it gets too high(about captain) it's time to move onto a new bunch of settings or maps.

What settings are you playing in you multi player games?

usually 4 or 5 player, sequen, either normal cards or no cards (i actually hate cards.) and normal reinforcement. (Tho single/next space only reinforcements are fun), on europe 1914, classic squares or 1vs1 speed with no cards, standard reinforcement, sequent on classic or doodle earth. Tho i've sworn off 1vs1 now because it's not fun anymore.
