Try the gravy soda....neanderpaul14 wrote:My favorite is the Blue Bubble Gum flavor
I'm a Mountain Dew drinker and can honestly say that the Throwback ones have a better taste to them, whether it is due to the natural sugar or something else, I have no idea.Neoteny wrote:Have you had this yet? I just tried it. It's a lot more mild than the current type, but I can taste the "real sugar," which is nice. Jury's still out on this one. Any of you tried it yet?
I can already see this degenerating into a vs Coke thread. Before that happens, I'm going to say that I like both and don't have a preference, because I am a diverse individual who doesn't limit himself to a singular worldview.

They have throwbacks for the Dew? I did not know that. I'll probably have to check that out as well.muy_thaiguy wrote:I'm a Mountain Dew drinker and can honestly say that the Throwback ones have a better taste to them, whether it is due to the natural sugar or something else, I have no idea.Neoteny wrote:Have you had this yet? Cherry everything is not my thing, and I'm pretty partial to my Dr Pepper. What is this gravy nonsense?Juan_Bottom wrote:Try the gravy soda....neanderpaul14 wrote:My favorite is the Blue Bubble Gum flavor
Haven't even heard of it Neoteny... I did just try the Cherry Dr. Pepper though... it tastes like flat Dr Pepper.
Never had it, but if I'm at a place that sells it, I surely will.neanderpaul14 wrote:Ever try Jones' sodas?? that is some goooood stuff.

A bit of a coincidence here....I was shopping last weekend in Buffalo with my wife and one of her friends...that is the first time I saw Cherry Dr. Pepper...I mentioned that I thought Dr. Pepper already had a cherry flavour. My wife's friend said "No, it is more like a spice" and my wife said "It's not really cherry, but I can see where you'd think it is a similar taste."Neoteny wrote:Cherry everything is not my thing, and I'm pretty partial to my Dr Pepper.Juan_Bottom wrote:I did just try the Cherry Dr. Pepper though... it tastes like flat Dr Pepper.

The actual description of the flavor of Dr. Pepper soda is "dark cherry" or "dark cherry spice." The two most dominate flavors in the cola are cherry and chocolate.TheProwler wrote:A bit of a coincidence here....I was shopping last weekend in Buffalo with my wife and one of her friends...that is the first time I saw Cherry Dr. Pepper...I mentioned that I thought Dr. Pepper already had a cherry flavour. But the posts above, it would seem that Juan thinks Dr. Pepper has a cherry taste, but Neoteny doesn't think so.
I'm gonna start a poll.

If you think that one tastes better than the other, than you are obviously a creationist. And probably a pedophile. Don't hate, it's science.jay_a2j wrote:Neoteny wrote: I can already see this degenerating into a vs Coke thread. What if one just tastes better than the other? Guess we have a close mind, eh?

The one that taste better is the one that's on sale that week

Yeah right!! You're the guy buying that expensive exotic soda pop that never goes on sale!! And they never lower themselves to using cans!! Just clear bottles with fancy labels!! Don't deny it; you are a rich bastard doing his best to mingle with the common folk.neanderpaul14 wrote:jay_a2j wrote:Neoteny wrote: I can already see this degenerating into a vs Coke thread. And they come in 4 packs that are more expensive than most 12 packs of coke or pepsi. Nice thing is that youre not supporting some water stealing multi-national when you buy Jones. I always get the Mandarin Orange and Lime uncarbonated juice when I go to Panera Bread.neanderpaul14 wrote:TheProwler wrote:Yeah right!! No actually here, in America they go on sale, about once a month, and they have them in cans also. Also I don't drink them all the time, that would leave little money for beer and cigarettes.
TheProwler wrote:If I lived in America, I'd be an alcoholic. Beer is so cheap there.
And I'd chew way too much tobacco.
Or maybe I'd just drink and chew the same amount and buy fancy pop.
