Just waiting for Nash, Sun Tzup and Jug to start going at each other now. With all minimum scores from the remaining games thrown in their at 358, 359 and 359 respectively fighting for the last spot, with a 20 point gap to me a Xiao holding 2nd and 3rd spots.

Whitetrash needs two 7th place finishes in 4 remaining active games to qualify, or Jug to finish worse than 1st in any map, or Sun Tzup to finish worse than 2nd in any map, therefore he is qualified as both can't win all remaining games.

TtD needs two more points in any game to qualify (worst scenario Jug win's three remaining maps, Sun Tzup two remaining maps and they pick up 2nds in games they don't win, both would get 394 points).

Xiaojie needs at least 12 points to be sure of a next round place but can assure qualification quicker by eliminating Sun Tzup and Jug from one map each.

Slickstick is eliminated, no way to qualify

Cthoenen1 needs a miracle to make up a 10 point deficit on all of Cthoenen, Jug68 and Sun Tzup, realistically has to win all remaining games he's active in.


Big win today for me has got me right to the edge of qualification, Cthoenen1's hopes look dashed after a last placed finished this morning.

Just looking at the groups relative strengths, Delta is unbelievably stacked as far as group rankings go, glad they're in the other half of the draw. Echo looks like a relatively low levelled group comparitively to the rest with only three lieutenants or better. Interesting how the ranks don't reflect the seeds at all.

Just shows that it isn't all about winning! I believe I won the most games in Foxtrot group so far and am probably going to finish 6th or 7th!

It's been a blast though, out group has been fighting tooth and nail all 80 games.

Also, and unique to Map Blaster, a lot of high-ranked players stick to just a few maps and playing styles -- often team games on maps where they have a great strategy figured out, and with settings that favor them. Map Blaster eliminates that advantage -- a careful player with good position and luck in the cards can win on any map. But mainly, playing on all maps means any specific expertise on a small number of maps is meaningless.

Your far enough ahead that four people won't catch you, so certainly.

indeed getting into a position where you are able to score 5 or more points every game is more important then wining 18-20 games but scoring 3 or less on the rest
