Notes:
-Colours denote players
-'?' are neutral territories if white with an undisclosed number of neutral armies
-'0' denotes that there is no army present defending this territory.
-The game allows for players to take sequentail moves with, light blue, then green, then black, then yellow, then dark brown, dark blue and finally red.
As you might have already guessed the rules for this game are somewhat customised to allow for esponage and not placing armies. But given this game situation, and assumeing that your opitions are just the same as a standard RISK game, in terms of attacks and chained movement of a single army stack. What would you do in the position of light brown (Great Britain and Northern Europe)?
I think that this is one of the most interesting game setups I have seen in ages, I mean we have someone who is going to get knocked out next turn either by red, or light blue. But at the same time we have Africa being probally within one turn of being unified. Black already owns the pacfic and could be making in roads into South America next turn, and green has probally turtled a large force over the last 10 turns, so will they make a strike for the US?
Also what is Russia like? with no intelligance it is a fools move to assume that they are weak, but knowledge of their eastern strenght makes you wonder if they have any large troop concentrations...
While not a standard game, it really makes me wonder what the outcome of the next few turns will be...
What do you think?
(If your interested the 'fog of war', removal was conducted by sacrificing 1 army for every territory revealed, to show the game state for that player that turn. I.e. for revealing light blues territory I had to spend 1 army, while for black 6. I didn't know before making the decision what the cost to me would be)
