Before signing up, make sure you read rule 10 and ask yourself if you will be able to post in this game as often as I request. It wouldn't hurt to read the rest of them in advance as well.

Rules:
1. I am the mod. You shall abide by my rules. Failure to do so might cause me to reconsider your participation in the game. If you feel I did something wrong, contact me via PM (unless it's about a vote count, you can say that in the thread).
2. You will not edit or delete any posts.
3. You will not quote any PMs you receive from me. You will not reveal the colour of your role, the amount of words in your role PM or anything that might be considered a way around quoting your PMs. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, don't hesitate to ask me (via PM).
4. Votes and unvotes must be in bold. If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied.
5. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote; once the majority has been reached any unvotes will not be counted.
6. You may not vote ‘no lynch’.
7. From the start of a day, you have 24 hours per player left alive until the end of the day.
8. If you fail to reach a lynch before the end of a day, the person with the highest amount of votes on him will be lynched. If people are tied for the highest amount of votes, the person to reach that amount first is lynched.
9. Nights will last approximately 48 hours. If you fail to send in your action before I post the scene that starts the next day, you are too late.
10. If you do not post for 48 hours, you will be prodded. You will receive a maximum of one prod every day. If you do not post for 48 hours for the second time on a day, you will be replaced.
11. If a replacement for an inactive player is not found within 24 hours, someone in the game is given an extra vote (essentially making him a double voter), instead of the inactive player. This person is chosen randomly. No-one will ever receive two or more votes at the same time through this rule. If this extra vote would lynch someone, it will not be tallied unless the person receiving the vote states that he wants it to count.
12. Once I send you a PM to tell you that I am replacing you, you are out of the game, so no more talking. If you disagree with my decision to replace you, tough. If you post in the game thread anyway, you will be blacklisted.
13. Once you are killed, you are dead, so no more talking.
14. No posting in the game thread during nights.

16. When PMing me about this game, please use "LotR" or "Lord of the Rings" as (a part of) the subject. They will go into a separate folder, which makes it easier for me to run the game.
