Greets all;
I have had an idea or two in the past for maps I'd like to see done, but I simply don't have the skills to create a detailed, playable map. I start with big plans, but quickly get bogged down and overwhelmed by it all. What I'd like is for two or three (or more) veteran mapmakers to partner up with me to bring my concepts to life. I can come up with the basics, even some baseline artwork, but I'll need someone with more patience and talent to bring the map to full fruition.
A couple of ideas I have right now are:
Anglo-Saxon Heptarchy (8th century England)
Conquest of the Big Island (Hawai'i, about 1790-1795)
Roman Gaul (mid to late 1st Century B.C.)
Anyone interested? I'd be more than willing to exchange e-mails to outline any details you may want.
Tuesday, June 2, 2009: Well, I've had a lot of looks but no replies, so I guess I should take that as a big, resounding NO. Isn't exactly the response I thought I'd get. Wrong forum or just plain wrong? Bad idea or bad timing?
