well my cumputer is on its way back home!!!!!! its little jurnay took him all the way to tennesee where they are replacing the motherboard cause my cumpture is defective. all free cause they screwed up makeing them. but now its on it way home. home sweet home

Why is It that you all give me h*ck whenever I spell something wrong but you don't say anything when Targetman does?

We do give target a hard time. Though if we were to do it every time target mispells something than well it's just so much it might make my computer explode.

It's possible a lot of former banned members try to make it back on to the site through a new account. However I do not think that it would be the case this time around.

In a totally unrelated topic, it turned out two of my dinner guests at the weekend were boardgame fans, specifically Risk.

Did you introduce them to CC and try to get them to post on the longest thread?

I have a relative who once was playing Risk and nothing left but Australia and Siam. Each turn he would just place his reinforcements and end his turn. Eventually he built up such a big army that he just swept across the board.

Sounds like you guys didn't know how to play.

Well it seems that most wouldn't let him create an army big enough to do that without at least some resistance.

we made up a rule that a miner could skip over a player by digging under him, but in that version they couldn't destroy bombs.

The latest in the visa saga -
It now appears that we are allowed to travel, as the first stage of renewing the visas is done.
Now we have to go back to the US Embassy in London.
New snag: the visas once approved will be posted to us, between 5 and 10 days after the interview. Which means we have to stay longer in the UK than we were planning, and that we can't book a flight back until we get the visas (which are printed into your passport)...
Also, we have booked an apartment for our UK stay, but there's no garuantee the visas will be ready by the date we vacate. So there's the problem with giving them an address to deliver to.

well i have stratego Stare wars verison and they have specialized rules to crazy i have never played that way but they are intresting to read about

The quality-control on flag-makers is quite exacting (not just for US flags, which is I guess what you meant) - they have to be sturdy enough to last if people are buying them 'cos they like 'em, and yet still be easy to burn if that's what you intend (a surprising percentage of all flags made end up getting burnt).

thats intresting did not know that i still hate flag burners unless they are doing it to retire it or cause it hit the ground.
