f*ck NO! You ruin the integrity of the threads. As someone from the longest thread I thoroughly oppose this. It's about the stupidest thing you could suggest.

The fact that you suggest anything like this shows me that you really know nothing about either thread.

Also, you don't know how thread merging works. You can't simply merge posts onto certain pages in a thread. The posts merge in by date. A more recent post will merge in after a less recent one.

And there it is the final proof that you know nothing about the threads. I will admit I do not know as much about what to speak of on behalf of Spamalot but i can guarrantee you that they have their integrity of being their own individual thread and as such I highly doubt that they would want to merge with anything especially sinc it would seem they are just as opposed to merging with us as we are.

For the Longest thread let me show you a basic look at how i view the forum.

Serious discussion-Politics, Religion, etc.

Non-Serious conversation-sports, music, movies, everyday small talk but not random spam.

Spam-random spewings like just saying "poop" or "post" or something completely off topic or designed to derail a thread.

The longest thread falls into the Non-serious conversation group but not the spam group. Is there spam in the Longest thread? Of course. you look hard enough and you can find spam in almost every thread on this forum. Putting simply spam topics in with the longest thread would go against what it stands for.

As for my sig, I am going to get rid of it eventually but when I do, I'm gonna gut it and I want something to replace what it says before I completely gut it.
