I'm thinking that they should employ a server in Europe ;)

EDIT - Although I think it's more to do with your router, I've seen some damn fast Dutch players !

I'm pretty quick and play lots of freestyle speed, which is why I very much noticed how lag has been a serious deal the past days.
I haven't lost any games because of it yet (opponents have lag too), but it is a bit of an annoyance :(
again, it is not much lag, I just get a 4 to 10 second delay (with the circling thingy ) about once per minute. as i said, this is not much, but in speedgames it can be a serious deal.

I heard opponents from america say that they had experienced more lag than usual in the past week as well.

We haven't had any reports from our hosting service of any serious lag problems, except for a few minute window after midnight in the USA where there is a backup I believe.

However, I know Lack is looking to move around some static data (such as icons and other things that do not change), over to a different server to up the performance on the more gaming associated servers. Stay tuned for more information on this over the next few months.

That's because they can legally, or at least easily, obtain high quality cocaine.

The lag has been noticable for 4 days now ranging from 4-10 seconds then timing out and having to wait again, i was surprised as on the mornings in the uk there are only between 300 - 500 users online.

[offtopic]woah! luapie, your avatar is gonna give me nightmares... :o [/offtopic]

I have noticed a slow down of a couple of seconds sometimes during the day, particulary at lunchtimes (1pm GMT)

Your avatar, luapie, fascinates me more than the topic at hand.
However, I do admit that the lag is pretty horrible on CC.

Last night while playing a speed game,Game 5181038 the lag was ridiculous after every single action the game froze up for me. I had to hit the refresh button after each action. tried turning bob off, it remained. after a round or two i turned bob back on and it cleared up. dont know if it was a coincidence or related to bob.

last week had the same problem with the oceana map, my opponent had the same problem.
