Ok, I am going to start with sign-ups because in theory there could be over 100 characters if you count the characters in all the sub games and expansion games like Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, but even with out them there are close to 70. There are 10 original ones, but that does not mean if I get 10 players that only those 10 will be in this game, but if I get a large number of players they will be the focus.
I am going to leave signups open for a week, so invite your friends or people you play against online. I think it would be really cool if we had a 40 or 50 player game, but that is probably wishful thinking. I am optimistic that it will be around 20 or 21 inorder to be really fun.
40 to 50 players has never even been done here. I don't think you realize how heavy the work of modding this would be if there was even enough players

I think Godfather was 36, was that the biggest? I seen mandy had an idea of doing a 50+ player game but it never came to it, once we get our numbers up we should try and push for a one off huge game with lots of noobs and vets. Although it would probably generate a lot of inactives and may need more than one mod if we could ever get it off the ground.

I knew I should've made CC mafia 2 with 37 players. Alas godfather and ccmafia are tying for largest game. Both took an incredible amount of time to finish.
