I had a guy that came to work with me in the spring, and go back to college in the fall.
He was about 6'4. He weighed 210 or more in the spring. By the time he went back, he was at 180. Lol. He said it took a month before people stopped asking if he was ill.
I myself have stripped 4 pounds since march. from 158 to 154...and will probably hit 144 by fall.
If it wasnt for the bodingtons..im sure I already would.
I'm Spanking Monkey now....err...I mean I'm a Spanking Monkey now...that shoots milk Too much. I know.
5'11 (180 cm or so)
122 Kilos (though, my gut has been getting smaller while my shoulders have been getting broader, as it gets tight in the shoulders and bicep area).
Some people fight like ninja, I fight like sumo (minus the almost naked part).

metrication is rubbish and nonsense. The Europeans are so desperate to ram it down the throats of the British there is a law that forbids the showing of weights in shops in pounds and ounces without first showing it in metric. As usual the British find their own ways of sticking two fingers up at these inane laws.
Anyway...on topic, I am 6'1" and around 205 lbs or 14 stone 9 lbs (this does fluctuate depending on the time of year). I have no dea how tall I am in metric or how much I weigh and have no wish to.
Due to current economic conditions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off
... let's have in our government a board of doctors to determine the optimal weight, by height (and possibly other factors).. do this through consensus.
... Then tax each pound over that optimum weight at a relatively low rate at "just a few pounds over", steadily increasing to severe taxes once the point of obesity is reached. No breaks based on low income.
... Use this tax to offset the new healthcare plans.

... Another great idea. I should run for office.
...
I believe this has already been suggested by some. On a related issue, there are some larger companies that offer incentives to employees that regularly visit the doctor's office, get dental checkups, and join a gym. In fact, I know one company that pays for a person's gym membership. Therefore, I think instead of a tax, we get the government to start running gyms and mandate that people attend the gym at least 3 times a week. Those people that don't attend the gym three times a week and engage in vigorous exercise owe an additional 0.5% income tax.
Alternatively, we can just tax fatty foods and drinks... oh wait, we already do that in some places.

... No, I don't want to work out at some government gym.
... I'm not fat, and I maintain my own fitness through my own means.
... I suggest government operated weigh-in centers, where folks have to go weigh in and receive a form to file with their tax return.
... Tax the hell out of fat people and motivate them to stop eating bacon-wrapped ice cream.
... Do this and probably half or more of the burden placed by the uninsured and the Mexicans on our system will vanish.

Weird, I've only heard about people putting on weight when they go to college. If I knew him I bet I'd be asking him if he was sick too lol

Word. I'm ten and a half stone and 5 foot plus 250mm.
on a side note, I'm glad drug dealers still sell hashish in imperal fractions. it helps to keep the kids involved with Math fractions they can relate too.
