Anyway, very strange night. What I found strangest is that pcmhugh was in fact gollum. Wasn't he "proven" town by the whisperings? We can't really trust those.

Actually, if you look back, the whisperings just said that PMC, karl and I didn't work for the dark lord (sauron). Which in fact came true. PMC was gollum and didn't work for the mafia.

Why in the world would legolas be scum? What you said there makes absolutely no sense. Why do you find the people advocating the mass claims scummy? That would make no sense whatsoever. Why would scum want a mass claim when he knows it would bring him out in the open?

Well, I have some degree of agreement with Iliad, not with Simon. i think that, actually, a mass claim can figure it out the way to winning, because scum will have big problems to fake-claim , or to support an counter -claim. The issue here is, if we do that, we can screw the analysis, that is the fun part of the game. It's a simplistic choice. But as I said before, I'm willing to claim if is that what the town really wants.

But now we have that statement of simon, saying that the mass claim supporters are Scum. That's another so different thing, and I take that behaviour as a big afraid of being pushed to claim, only explainable to scum. so, atm, mi top suspect is simon.

Both sides of this mass claim arguement have a point. Whereas it would help us town win, it wouldnt exactly be much fun, and sort of ruins the point of the game. Themed games are far too easy to win by doing thus. Therefor i think its not really worth doing ATM.

If you're that worried it's going to ruin the game, then we can forego character claiming, but there's no way in hell i'm allowing this game to be played to its conclusion without mass role claiming.

I only had one other night, and I really blew it, I'd only read about 2 pages of the 30 page thread and I thought suspect was scummy so I blocked him.

Honestly, I can't figure out anyone who has been the scummiest out of that entire group. They have all had their scummy moments and they have all had their times when they were beneficial to the town. This game has been full of situations where someone who we suspected to be scum turned out to be a fellowship member. I'd like to see if someone could come up with some solid irrefutable evidence against any of them. I surely can't.

In a mass claim, we will not be biased whether the person is counter claiming, or got counter claimed. If we do, then we are going down a road of mistake.
