Dunno if I totally agree Dave (DaGip got banned and he was a bit of a conspiracy nut) but I will say that they could have found a better post than these to ban him for.

I guess it's the record rather than the posts themselves being so bad..

But the goddamn record is complete fucking bullshit to begin with. I'm willing to bet at least 4 of the 7 bans (if not 6) came from either wicked or Twill, both disgraced former mods with undeniably spotty records and best known for playing favorites and being spiteful, rather than keeping the peace. And that's what a mod's supposed to do, set the tone and keep the peace. Not to go into Search and Destroy Mode on a crusade for whatever standard of elegance the hive mind has decided is now to be imposed upon everyone except (of course and always) the insiders.

DaGip was trying to bring down Twill and died like an officer leading the charge against a stronger opponent. He died, but his sacrifice helped pave the way to a good end.

DM was trying to be funny in the forums, entertaining both himself and others with witty and harmless banter.

There's a huge difference.

That would be kind of cool to see the legion of the banned posting elsewhere. I guess it could sort of be like CC's hall of fame. There's probably some people in there I've never heard of.
