Since I'm unclear on what necro-bumping actually is, here's an old post that shows just how much Dancing Mustard did care about the lives of everyone and communicated so in his own unique way:

Quit crying out for attention on an internet forum.

If you had a genuine self-harm problem then you wouldn't be showing off pansy little scratches on your arms and expecting the CC boards to take pity on you. Self harm is a serious psychiatric problem, not a whiny little emo fashion craze ("gone numb", spare us the cliches).
Seriously, put a shirt on and quit faking a breakdown; if you think you've got real issues then you should be talking to people in the real world about it, not playing 'mental-patient' on the CC forums. Times and places dude.
The social lounge is not the appropriate place to be seeking help; you're almost certainly smart enough to know that. If you think you've got a real problem, go somewhere appropriate to discuss it, your parents would be a good start. Otherwise just shut up and play Risk like everyone else.

He's not trying to cut the guy down, he's encouraging him to get help. Just as he encouraged people now to better refine their skills of argumentation in clashing with him.

I looked at the "evidence" that andydufresne submitted to justify his action, and it could have been any one of us. This is petty bullshit from dufresne, and abject cowardice on his part since he's leaving us and wants to snipe someone before he goes. Catty bitch.

This is a sad day for the CC community. One of the sharpest wits and best debaters this forum has seen has been banned. Hey, you red, betentacled modsquid that would hold us in a stranglehold from which there is no escape! You would do well to remember it is not you that make these fora enjoyable and interesting, but we the posters. You are at best a detached entity that looks upon the happenings of your domain and only interferes if bloodshed is looming, at worst however, you are an obstacle to be overcome in the search for fun, a brute to be teased until you pull out your banhammer and wave it threateningly in the general direction of those you perceive not to respect your authority, a child who will throw a tantrum whenever the living dolls it plays with display a hint of independence. Far too often you are one of the latter rather than the former.
Cater to the clients you have instead of entertaining vain hopes of attracting "suitable folks", there are none on the internet.


I will be blacking out my avatar as a public sign of my grief and the sig may follow soon, feel free to follow suit or come up with something of your own making, I think the best way to keep Dancing Mustard's memory alive is to emulate his example. Be creative, eloquent and critical in your posts. Call people out on their stupidity, display it publically for all to see and heap ridicule on them until they whimper in despair and flee with their tails between their legs. Norse leaving was a blow, DaGip's departure was a cause for concern, but this is a tragedy.

Well this is a bugger and no mistake.

I have to say I've always liked andy but this has rather dimmed my view on him. I've never posted much but I've been here rather consistently for the last few years and mustard's posts have always been some of the best reading on this site.

I guess the problem is moderators are obaying every rule to the letter rather than adapting and attempting to manage the forums as a community. I don't doubt that the mods could pile a heap of evidence which would amount to warrant a ban but they only ever record the negative. While DM has broken more rules than most I'm sure, he has also put far more into the forums than all but a slim few.
