Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Boromir had reached Meduseld, where they found King Theoden, withered away on his throne. His counselor Grima had been poisoning Theodon with his words, and the King was only a shadow of the man he used to be. The four fellowship members get rid of the treacherous servant of Saruman and without the whisperings of Grima influencing Theoden, he quickly returns to his old self.



Seeing the truth again, Theoden decided to lead his people to Helm's Deep, where they will be the safest. Along the way, the group is attacked. Orcs riding Wargs ambush the men of Rohan, and the Witch King flies into battle on his horrible winged monster. A deafening screech severely harms the morale of every man and woman on the field, but after being hit by a swarm of arrows, the great beast falls to the ground. The Orcs and Wargs had been dealt with, and only the Witch King remains. It took many blows, and the Witch King still managed to kill dozens of men, but the gruesome battle ended with the defeat of Saruman's strongest servant.



sam_levi_11 (The Witch King - Mafia Roleblocker) has died.

Theoden and the four fellowship members reach Helm's Deep, and soon enough a great army stood before their gates. They prepare for one of the largest battles they will ever fight.

The fellowship is at Helm's Deep, the mafia gets an extra kill to use during night 4.

Yeah the idea of mafia themes is to add intrest to the game not reinact the theme.

I was genuinly busy for two days, then when i got back i literally gave up. A mass role claim totally defeats the object of a mafia game. Totally shite. But have fun.

Maybe so, but I think he has a point. Mass claims should be banned, espicially in themed games like this.

My next themed game will definitely have some sort of mechanic that makes mass claims entirely useless.

I agree. Though many don't because mass claiming is BS and thus generally self moderated.

Fact is i could have claimed anyone and you wouldnt have believed me, be it through being a monor character or one that likely exists and therefor being counter claimed. I dont care if you "caught" me with your track, in themed games mass claims ruin the whole object of mafia and make them far too easy for town.

Themed games must either have fake claims given to scum or no mass claiming otherwise it can be ruined quite easily day 1. If I ever made a themed game I would have a rule agianst mass claiming.

Thats why I picked my Marvel Theme. There are far to many superhero's for a Mass claim happen succesfully in my game.

Everyone had forgotten about the two Hobbits, Merry and Pippin. They wandered through Fangorn, hoping that they would soon find their way out. A sound behind them startles the two Hobbits and they run away from it as fast as they can, but Merry was not fast enough. Pippin heard a scream behind him, but he kept running, terrified of what might happen to him.



AceArtemis (Merry - Vanilla Townie) has died.

The battle for Helm’s Deep had barely started when a white rider appeared at the flank of the Orc army and raised his staff. A bright light shined from the tip, forcing everyone to look away. The figure then pointed his staff and shot a devastating bolt of bright lightning. Gimli fell to the ground, grasping at his chest.



Simon Viavant (Gimli - Roleblocker) has died.

Legolas stood on the wall firing arrow after arrow, but his allies were falling left and right and soon he would be overrun by Orcs. He fired three more arrows and then started to make his way to a safer place. Legolas grabbed an Orc shield, threw it down on the floor in front of the stairs and jumped on it. Right before he started to slide down the stairs, he saw Aragorn’s lifeless body being thrown off the wall.



william18 (Aragorn - Ranger) has died.

At dawn, the Rohirrim appear and they charge into the Orcs. Not long after the devastating charge, the Orcs sound the retreat, but the entire enemy army is wiped out before a single Orc could escape. Without wasting time, the entire army travels towards Mordor, where Saruman now resides.

This is nothing but wool over your eyes, and clive is now at the cusp of victory. Do not hammer.
Did you remember how everyone suspected Clive, but he claimed Legolas, but refused to claim a role?
Remember how he claimed and then just disappeared?
Lurked and lurked, in complete safety because everyone believed his claim. He was in a great position: he could now get away with anything. He was just roleblocked, over and over again. But now he can use his power again!

And then came back in style day 4, when he saw that mafia was losing and mafia needed to take town's lynches. And the best way to do that: mass claim.

Clive was mafia with a fake-claim. Because he knew legolas wasn't in the game, he knew that not all Fellowship members had to be in. All he had to do was to steer a decision into a mass claim, by taking control of town.

Ok. No fucking about here - If you are responsible for the spiesr kill, you counter William now.

If there is no counter, then he is clear, as far as I can tell.

Massclaim today may be a good idea.

And all he had to do is then weed out anyone who didn't claim Fellowship, who he worked out there must've been. He was just agressive and forced people to claim, even though discussion was still out whether we should mass-claim. But he grabbed the power for himself.
He didn't need sam anymore, the trust would be worth it. All he has to do is lynch me today, and he wins during the night. Kills two people and ta-da.
Town has already been manipulated by pmchugh, let's not fall for that again. Think people, compare my track record and clive's. I haven't been looking scummy all game, I've been getting accused by Gollum all game.

of all the members in the Fellowship, Legolas would be one of the most likely to be in this game. If I wanted to fake-claim being mafia, I wouldn't gamble on Legolas.

King Theoden’s army had reached the great gate that sealed Mordor. Gondor had sent some reinforcements and now they were ready to finish the final threat to Middle Earth. Saruman stood on top of the gate, his army behind it. Legolas was focused on Saruman, ready to fire an arrow as soon as the wizard tried anything, when he heard someone shouting his name. He looked behind him to find Sam on a hill behind the army.

At that moment, it started. The black gate was opening and Orcs and Uruk-hai were pouring out. Scattered across their ranks were large Trolls, ready for battle, and Saruman stood in their middle. Saruman raised his staff, ready to release his magic, but Legolas hit him in the chest with an arrow, disrupting Saruman’s focus. After this, the armies charged at each other.

Boromir ducked and dodged, avoiding his enemies with only one goal in mind. He was heading straight for Saruman. He approached the wizard from the side, while Saruman was fending off the cavalry that prevented him from retreating. Boromir ran the last few feet and swung his sword. Saruman saw the sword coming at him, but could not prevent that Boromir cut off two of his fingers and with them The Ring fell to the earth. Boromir managed to grab The Ring right before Saruman threw Boromir away from him with magic. A troll attacked the cavalry, and Saruman started running towards the gate.

No-one had noticed that Sam had been sneaking past both armies and when Saruman ran past him, he jumped up from under his cloak and stabbed Saruman with Sting. The old wizard fell to his knees; the last injury was too much for him.



Iliad (Saruman - Mafia Usurper/The Dark Wizard) has been killed.
