What Vick did was utterly reprehensible. However, he has served his debt to society now and I believe should be given the benefit of the doubt as far as whether he is actually reformed or not. Time will tell.

As to football, I think he could provide a great deal of help to the Philadelphia offense...just not at quarterback. Make this guy a receiver/kick returner and he could be special (unless he's got Stonehands Disease). But he was never a very accurate quarterback and, given the time off, isn't likely at all to be one now.

Yeah well Philadelphia was the last place I thought Vick would go. I thought he might go to a team with QB problems, like San Francisco, the Browns, the Vikings, or maybe even to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles already have 3 QB's I don’t really see the need for Vick to go there.....as a QB. Returning kicks might be his option, or as a WR. Andy Reid also mentioned that they were practicing their own version of the wildcat formation, he can start out at running back (in that formation) maybe receive a toss from Donovan McNabb and maybe throw it downfield. If it does work out for him in Philly, then they might make it back to the playoffs, probably even back to the NFC championship. Only time will tell.

I'm just glad that everyone will (hopefully) stop talking about him. It was so annoying when they started talking about him during the Hall of Fame game with Dungy, I had to mute the TV so I could avoid the NFL version of the latest on Jessica Simpson.

I hate McDaniels. I hate him! Bring back Shanahan! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!! AHHHH!!!!

I don't really care how poorly Vick throws, he Broncos could've definitely used him. I mean, I don't know much about Orton, but that probably means he's not too good.

God I hate McDaniles.

Orton is a game manager. He can checkdown and throw to his RBs and TEs all right, but don't ask him to go deep ever. It almost never ends well. I know that last night was preseason, but you saw Orton at his worst right there. Don't expect to have a pass heavy team with him at the helm.

Michael Vick has made a lot of bad choices and it's cost him. Maybe this will finally turn around his self destructive behavior and he can actually right his ship. There is no doubt about his atheletic ability and any team he is part of should benefit from his talent. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Vick will be interviewed on 60 Minutes tomorrow.

Because if there is one thing this world doesn't have enough of, it's information on Vick.

One thing that would intrigue me about the whole Vick in Philly thing is this - I'd love to see the Eagles play an entire game with both McNabb and Vick standing side-by-side in a shotgun, so that every play, depending on who receives the snap, you've got a different offense. Ok, it wouldn't work on every single down, but for maybe 75%, no one really knowing who's getting the ball, maybe work in some delays where they hand it off to the other mid play, it would make for an interesting offense. Would either be awesome, and revolutionize some thinking, or fail epically. Either way, would make for good theater.

Though that's not necessarily a bad thing, for the Broncos. Really, the running game has typically been the strength there.

Michael Jackson is laughing at the limited coverage of Vick. <grin>

im a philadelphia fan.

im indifferent.
regardless, i dont consider vick a qb but he's a great athelete. they could run some crazy formations with mcchoke, vick, westbrook, jackson, and machlin (#1 pick this year who is also fast)

but i know mcchoke and reid will choke in the championship game again

go flyers,

i hate the eagles so i hope mcnabb gets hurt and they have to play vick cuz kolb is hurt too... easy win for the cowboys
but in all seriousness i doubt he will play very much if at all, its gonna take him a year to get used to the game speed and all that shit kinda like a rookie all over again
