What he's saying is that, if you think about it, a 5 rating should really be only given for the extraordinarily good. A 3 should be average and a 4 should be somewhere in between the two.

So a 4.0 SHOULDN'T be that bad of a rating (but it is).

It only is because the moderators not only know about this abuse, but participate in it. I was chatting with a moderator recently, asking him how he rates people. When he told me that he rated "normally", I asked him to clarify. He stated,

"I give them all 5 stars, unless they really suck".

5 stars is not an average player, 3 is. it's about damn time that the admins stop letting this blatant abuse continue.

I think some are completely missing the point. My understanding of OPrime's request is that this is about projects, not about moderating the mods. So the question really is, who wants to help design/comment/suggest/help implement on future projects that can help the site?

I may not be the best candidate, but to think that gt may not have been suggested by this point is horrid. I would also nominate thegreekdog for honestly attempting objective understanding of most issues. A must-have for decision-making, probably useless for creative purposes.

When elected to this very important position I'll personally throw out all bums who have any close relationships with C.C. This will include Moderators, administrators, anyone with a "colored" name, general suck ups and other suspected insiders.

The time has come to form a group with the best interests for not only C.C, but the FREE WORLD.

I'll forcefully press into service the true crime fighters of the forums. This will include those who have disappeared in the middle of the night [If they're dead, I'll dig up the body and prop the remains behind the desk] and also those who have been repeatedly warned and banned in the forums, sorry but this would not include multis or other cheaters.

Flame Wars will return, under my fine guidance. I will also issue a blanket amnesty to all those who have pissed off or otherwise crossed the fine line of the guide lines.

You can all look forward to sunny days, with warm tropical breezes, where girls hop and skip with their skirts a flopping, the flowers will burst with a magnitude 10 earthquake, where we ALL have colored names and all things are equal.
