Hi, I am a fairly new member and am loving this site and my premium membership. Totally tits! I really like the variety of maps to chose from. It adds a whole new dimension to the game. Anyway, I have an idea for a map but am not sure how to go about getting it made nor am sure how well the idea will be received. My idea is to have a map that represents the NFL. The way I imagined it, the map would consist of an outline of the United states and of the states boundries. So, your basic map of the USA. Then I figured the team logo could be placed on the teams location (i.e. the Minnesota Vikings would have a team logo on Minneapolis). As far as regions go, they would be divided up by their conference and region. So a person would get a bonus for holding the NFC North (Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Detroit Lions) as well as if you held the entire NFC or AFC, meaning all the teams that make up that conference or division. There could be a bonus point for holding the pro bowl in hawaii and the superbowl location which is Miami this year. There could also be a bonus for holding the Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio. In the case of teams having the same location, I figured the map could pull out or reference a zoomed portion of the map, like on WWII. As far as which bonus are more valuable, I would leave that up to the designers discretion and which teams outside of divisions and conferences would be linked. This is about as far as I've thought about it. I am really interested to hear feedback and or about where I go from here.
