keeping track of cards

Post by chris_in_seattle »

Hey I'm pretty new to CC. I'm currently playing on the max 4 tables and having a good time.

One thing I notice that is hard to keep track of is how many cards someone has (when I played Risk growing up you always had to show how many cards you have). It becomes important in late stages of escalating-book games if a player has 2 or 3 or 4 cards, and what you do to prepare for the 40 army onslaught. To that end I was wondering if a game improvement could be added that listed the number of cards each player has, or if the community in general likes the open-card versus the current more discreet method.

I find myself scrolling through the games histories and re-counting other player's cards, so it is all that hidden anyways, just time consuming.
