Awash in posters of the right

I have noticed that there seems to be a multitude of posters spewing from the right side of their mouth lately. Players that rarely posted before in the GD and TS forums.

I also see the powers that be are seeking candidates for positions within the oligarchy.

Is this a coincidence?

Coincidence? NO! C.C is and was always run by the far-right extremists. These rightwing Neanderthals use to be seen clubbing baby seals on the sea ice. Now they've turned their attention on the posters in the forum. Now they have resorted to clubbing posters, such as Dancing Mustard, T-O-M, B.K.Barunt, Owenshooter and a host of other seal like creatures here at C.C. Land.

I don't really understand where you guys are coming from. Having recently joined TeamCC I am slightly insulted by these kind of remarks.

Has it ever entered any of your minds that I joined TeamCC to make people happy? To create a better experience for all those people playing the game?

To the contrary, your sole purpose for posting in any of the forums seems to be to annoy and insult people. I'm sure there are better places to do just that. Why not go there and let the rest of us have some fun?

Has it occurred to you that, while you as a Tournament Director aren't really included when it comes to TeamCC insults, but that the majority of the flames that come from the forums, while going through the inproper channels, have been in one form or another justifiable?

Look at it this way. There was a time when CC was, for lack of a better term, about FUN. The forums weren't about "Use this forum for this and ONLY this or you're going to be banned", there was joking around, there was laughter, there was FUN on a gaming site. Crazy how that works.

Then, with next to no warning, and after a few years of being lax on the rules, they're enforced 100% to the letter, no questions asked, no excuses good enough, if you ever broke a rule, we'll take your $25 or more and kick you out.

On top of that, there has been a lack of real effort to ban posters that the mods like, and there has been bias against anyone that even speaks against TeamCC or what they've done. Posters are now afraid to post because doing so means they'll be banned from the site for no given reason.

TeamCC has a lot to answer for, but they won't. They'll bring in the new guys, hope they'll clean up the mess that is this site, and ignore the constant errors they've made in the past.

TeamCC needs to be fired, and replaced, with the exception of the mods that don't actually do anything, only contribute (ie, TD's and Clan Mods, who don't actually have a part in any of the forum slop-ups.

- Minimum 250 posts
- Posting in a variety of forums

Suddenly, there are a slew of new posters (players as stated in the original post) all posting opinions from the right. I expect they are trying to get the attention of team CC as well as meeting the requirements. I understand your appointment was in the works before the call for new mods went out by team CC.

Mmmm.... I joined this site to have fun. To have fun playing risk, not to have fun in "forums" and/or chatting to people. I can do that in other places.

I joined TeamCC because I think I can make the "playing risk experience" better. Don't you think Kotaro, that people are taking this a bit too far? Aren't we here to enjoy the game? Or better said: shouldn't we be here to enjoy the game, punto?

Lx, I can't answer for Kotaro, but I can speak for me.

I enjoy the game and the site. I usually have 15 - 20 games going at once. I browse the forums between turns and have found that I enjoy them too. However, I have seen things that I feel to be unfair and Kotaro has stated some of them above. I don't call anyone names, or try not to, but I also try to be vocal in what I see as injustices. I care about this site and feel that I must speak up or I am doing a dis-service to the site and myself.

Well, most people are here to enjoy the game, I know I am, but why can't we enjoy the forum too? Just because it's a game site doesn't mean the forum needs to be crap.

Agreed, the forums don't need to be crap. And really, I think we are pretty far from having crappy forums. The majority of those active on the forums are enjoying them---being that Tournaments, Maps, Forum Games, Clans, heck, even here in good old GD. One of the more interesting bell-weathers of the GD forum is the ratio of "rank scoreboard" topics to "concerned about x" topics.

I for one, am glad to "talk" put of the Right side of my mouth. Have no desire to be a mod, come in the Forums occasionally to see what is going on. Maybe you need a Flame/Forum site instead of a game site with a Forum?

I don't know anything about the right side of mouths or issues with team CC or anything like that. Personally I have no issues with anyone, and as far as I know, no one has any issues with me.

I just thought that we couldn't play Risk here because it was a trademark situation. If we can play Risk here then lets play on the old original map and use dice instead of intensity cubes.

(Also not trying to create an issue here, I just have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor at times.)
