I agree (except on the Pats, my dad's a fan of theirs and I look on them fondly). Seriously, at a certain point you've had enough Super Bowl victories, let some of the rest of us get a few together.strike wolf wrote:He'll just return earlier. I have to say that after the Patriots the Pittsburgh Steelers are my next least favorite NFL team and would like to personally say thank you to the Bears. Actually come to look at it, all three of my least favorite NFL teams lost today and the Falcons won. I think that makes for a great day.

I see how it is. You liberals just want to redistribute the Lombardis.Frigidus wrote:I agree (except on the Pats, my dad's a fan of theirs and I look on them fondly). The reason I worded it that way was because HapSmo19 started a similar thread mocking we Bears' fans last week over the loss to Green Bay.Juan_Bottom wrote:The title confused me (coming from Luns) but the presentation was win.
I don't think that the Packers game was any indication of the Bears upcoming season. It took 4 interceptions for them to take the game, and the Bears did great in the pre-season. The Bears will have a great run.... even without Mr. Brian Keith Urlacher.
GO BEARS!
Uhhhhh yeah - so what? Part of the reason for that victory was a fluke interception which bounced off of some guy's heel.luns101 wrote:By the way, if beezer comes prancing in here, anyone feel free to reference how the Cowboys choked today against the Giants.

So that's the best you've got? "We were pretty good in the '90s"? "Tony Romo has a good arm"? Romo isn't even a top 5 QB (Cutler isn't either before you freak out). Talking about how horrible your O-line is doesn't mean much to a Bears fan. We've had that down for years. Besides, if I remember correctly, you were the one that talked about how sucky we were after one game in September.beezer wrote:Uhhhhh yeah - so what? Let's see now, the Bears haven't won a Super Bowl in over 2 decades and we're supposed to get all hot and bothered over a victory against the Steelers. Everyone knows Pittsburgh doesn't even play well until midway through the season. When I see Chicago beat a good team sometime after November I'll be impressed. The Cowboys have won 3 Super Bowls since your minor blip on the championship radar in 1986.
Someone please show me how far Romo can throw the ball compared to any quarterback the Bears have had in the past 20 years! Someone please show me some personal failure of Romo's where he hasn't achieved a conquest! The guy has almost no offensive line to block for him and yet he consistently goes out and competes. He literally collapsed in the shower room from a rib injury last year. He tied Troy Aikman's 5 TD passes in a single game, and broke Danny White's record of passing TDs in a season.
...............but let's get all worked up about a Chicago victory in September
Maybe...oVo wrote: Cutler and Romo will get it together and help their teams rock the NFL
and there's nothing wrong with the Cowboys starting offensive line.
